Recommended File Locations
Server When installing a new instance of WP1, the db filesare installed on C:\ on the server and can be moved. Do not leave the WP1 db files on the C driveif this volume is shared.
When migrating existing db files from a single user,make sure they are converted on the workstation first, before moving them tothe desired location on the server.
Note: WP1 dbfiles on a primary user were converted during the primary user installationprocess. Client Use the default installs to place FMP under ProgramFiles and the WP1 network client at the root on the local hard drive. ** Specify this backup folder. The default backup folder under Program Filesis not recommended.
Note: FMSrequires a final / at the end of the pathname, however this is not required onthe client. |
